– Providing 60 school desks, five teachers’ tables, and chairs worth GH¢14,000 to the Presbyterian Junior High School.
– Refurbishing the kindergarten and primary school buildings in the area.
– Establishing a modern ICT training center with computers and furniture to promote digital literacy among students and residents.
– Improving the community’s schools’ forecourts by concreting and screeding them.
– Installing streetlights in strategic areas of the community to enhance security and visibility.
– Donating a set of football jerseys, footballs, and a television set to support educational and recreational activities in local schools.
These significant initiatives, achieved in a short time since the ADA’s inception, have garnered praise from residents and stakeholders.
Mrs. Charity Anima Offei, the Chairperson of the ADA, conveyed appreciation to members and supporters for their dedication to Ahwenease’s development. She called upon businesses, charitable organizations, philanthropists, and Ahwenease citizens both locally and internationally to back the ADA’s endeavors.
She emphasized that additional support would enable the ADA to embark on more development projects that would further propel Ahwenease’s advancement and contribute to the overarching development goals of the Municipal Assembly and Ghana as a whole.
