The first group of 2026 Ghanaian pilgrims left Tamale heading to Mecca.

\nThe first group of 430 Ghanaian pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj were flown from Tamale Airport to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

They departed from Tamale on Friday at 11:30 GMT and were planning to arrive at 4:00 PM GMT.<\/p>\n

In all, a total of 6000 pilgrims are expected to depart from Ghana on 18 different flights from May 1 to May 18, 2026. Ghana Investment Report.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Just before leaving, the Northern Regional Minister, Ali Adolf John, and officials from the Ghana Hajj Board met with the pilgrims and said goodbye to them.<\/p>\n
