Bagbin<\/span><\/span>, has renewed calls for the construction of a permanent Parliament House for <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ghana<\/span><\/span>, describing it as a matter of national urgency rather than political preference.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"644\">Speaking during a parliamentary engagement in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Accra<\/span><\/span>, the Speaker emphasized that Ghana\u2019s legislature deserves a purpose-built, modern facility that reflects the country\u2019s democratic maturity and growing legislative responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"838\">According to him, the absence of a permanent Parliament complex limits operational efficiency and does not adequately project the stature of Ghana\u2019s democratic institution on the purpose during the colonial era.
